A: When making a reservation it is always best to make that reservation in advance. The sooner you can make your reservation, the better your chances are of getting the property you most desire. Due to the attractiveness of our many beach home and condo rentals, and our wide advertising; most customers make their reservations well in advance.

A: You can either make a booking directly on this website by using the “check availability box” to the left. Or you can call our office and our staff will be glad to help you. Specials can only be booked over the phone with one of our reservationists.

A: If you have to cancel your confirmed reservation, you will forfeit your deposit, unless the property can be re-rented. However, we do offer Travel Insurance for 7.95% of the total amount being insured, which covers emergency perils.

A: Because vacations can be disrupted for a variety of reasons including (but not limited to) emergencies, death, airline delays and disruptions, illness and bad weather, we recommend you consider purchasing travel insurance. We offer insurance through CSA Travel Protection at 6.95% of your total reservation cost. It is an optional add-on and will be added to your reservation at the time of booking.

A: There is a three night minimum stay during the off season and a 7 night minimum stay during peak season, however special arrangements can be made in certain circumstances, generally within less than two days prior to your check-in. Please contact management with such requests.

A: Check-in is after 3 pm the day of arrival. Check-out is by 10 am.

A: You will get your keys from the Rose Real Estate office located at 897 Melody Lane, Surfside Beach, SC 29575.

A: We understand if you need to arrive later in the evening. Instructions for late arrivals are posted on our office door. Your check-in packet will be left with the security guard at the entrance gate of Oceanside Village.

A: We accept Visa, MC and Discover cards, money orders and certified checks. Personal checks will be accepted only if received more than 30 days before arrival date.

A: Some of our rental homes are pet friendly (depending upon the wishes of the home owner). Pet friendly homes are clearly identified on the website, or you can choose it as a criteria in your search. There is a $150 fee for the first pet and an additional $100 for the second pet.

A: While groups and house parties are strictly prohibited, we understand having dinner guests. Overnight guests are allowed as long as the maximum occupancy of the home is not exceeded. All visitors in Oceanside Village must have a guest pass for their vehicle which can be obtained at the security guard house.

A: All homes and condos have central air and heating. Many of our homes also include ceiling fans.

A: Many homes do, please be sure to check details of your specific property to make sure.

A: Smoking is strictly prohibited in most homes and fines are applicable.

A: The reservation price includes a cleaning fee in which we will have someone clean and prepare for the next guest. However, we do ask that you empty your refrigerator, take out the trash and load all dirty dishes into and run the dishwasher.

A: Bedspreads, pillows, blankets and mattress pads are provided; sheets and towels are not provided but can be rented or you can bring your own.

A: All kitchens are stocked with pots and pans, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, and silverware. Most kitchens have additional items but vary from property to property and are not guaranteed.

A: You will need to bring bed and bath linens (if not rented), beach towels, laundry supplies, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, all food/beverages (don’t forget the coffee filters), spices, condiments, and all personal care items.

A: While there are certainly wonderful hotels and resorts in the area, vacation rentals offer some advantages, especially for families. Some of the top reasons are: · Tons of space: Whether you are traveling with 2, 4 or 14, you want to enjoy your vacation on your own terms. With multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and at least one central gathering place, vacation rentals offer the right space for every size group. Forget the hassle of trying to coordinate hotel rooms for a big group. · Pure privacy: A vacation rental home offers privacy from crowds and close quarters at hotels and resorts. You and your family have the place to yourselves. · Budget: Vacation rentals are cost efficient, particularly for four or more. You’ll save hundreds over the course of the week by skipping restaurant meals alone! · Pet Friendly: Many homes are pet-friendly. You save on kennel bills while hanging out with your best four-legged friends. Pets deserve a vacation, too.
