We used to own this home and have really missed coming down and staying here. This home is located in a great location across the street from the pool and hot tub. It is so convenient with children and older adults. Great location!!

We had a great visit. The house was ample for our stay. The one bedroom off the kitchen is very small. But we made due. Also I know the cleaners were running late getting to clean our house, however the floor was never mopped. It was filthy. At night after bath time, I looked at our grandchildrens feet and they were black! Then we all checked out feet. Very dirty too. So on Sunday morning my husband and I mopped all the floors in the house. It took 3 buckets of water because the floor was so filthy. Great location by the pool with us having little kids with us.

While we did happen to have an “all that can go wrong did go wrong” with appliances overall we had a nice stay. This is our favorite house as it’s right across the street from the pool. Thanks to the helpful staff with all of the issues and their response. Looking forward to renting again!

The house was exactly what we were needing. Plenty of space and with an 8yo and 2yo, being directly across from the pool and splash pad were just wonderful. The dryer and coffee pot could use being replaced and possibly the mattresses. Otherwise, we have already reserved it for next year!

We enjoyed the house and its location. Kitchen has all that is needed to cook any meal. It has small appliances, many utensils, pots, pans, cookie sheets, and baking dishes. However, there is very little room to store food. We do plan to return to this house for another winter. We had another great winter at Oceanside Village!

This was our 3rd ( or 4th?) year to stay at this location and we’ve always enjoyed. It’s nice to be so close to the outdoor pool area. Although we’ve stayed at some absolutely lovely pier homes in OSV during previous vacations, it’s nice to be on ground level now that we’re older .

PROs:My family has stayed at Oceanside Village 4-5 times, 3 or 4 being rented thru Rose Realty. The ladies in the office make check-in & out fast and easy, they’re warm and friendly. It’s a treat to see Mary every year! OSV is wonderful for families, safety, proximity to a quiet ocean and amenities. My children LOVED being right outside the pool this year and this home will likely become a favorite for that reason alone. My husband loved the owners new recliner sofas! We had an aunt come with us and we all had more than enough room for everyone to spread out.
CONs: While we do love Rose, we are always left wondering why they charge a huge, mandatory cleaning fee! There has never been a time we didn’t have to clean before we could relax. Rose needs a new housekeeping crew! Furniture is never cleaned behind/under, sand is everywhere. We found snack wrappers, receipts, socks and deodorant in different rooms. Large dead bugs in windowsills. Every stay has a checkout list of tasks to perform. Crews seem to only walk-through. For $120 after EVERY client, typically once a week thru the summer, NO ONE should be finding these things! The office is more than willing to send another crew out for issues and this home happened to be the cleanest yet, by far, but still.
Overall, we do love Oceanside and plan to return in the future.

We loved this rental! We are a family of four and our daughter had her own room and our son had his own room. It was nice to have space to spread out. The furniture was comfortable and the outside area was like having an extra family room. The fans out there were great! We didn’t use the grill but it was there. We (especially me, mom!) enjoyed the easy access to the pool. Since our kids are teenagers, I enjoyed spending time there in the mornings while the kids were still sleeping. (They enjoyed staying up late and watching Netflix in their bedrooms since they don’t have TVs in their bedrooms at home.) We cooked a fair amount and were pleased with the available tools. (The only thing we needed but couldn’t find was a pizza or sheet pan for baking.) The kitchen is updated and the bar/island was wonderful! I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again if the opportunity presented itself. As a side note, we’ve done VRBO before but found it was nice working with Rose Realty, knowing they were right there if we needed anything.

Our month at the beach was so pleasant. The staff went out of their way to see that we were comfortable, The house was clean and thee grounds we well kept. The location of the house was perfect( a ten minute to the beach) and no less than that to the indoor pool. We loved the fact that we were able to bring our 4 legged fur baby with us and were able to take her just about everywhere we went. If you are looking for a nice safe place, did I tell you it is a gated community? , well it is. The person we talked to most, was Mary Hines and we wish to thank her so much for all her help. Good stay, the kitchen was well stocked with what you needed if you plan on doing any cooking. One bedroom beside the kitchen did not have a door which did make it difficult for someone to sleep if others were up earlier, but there was a fan in the room. It rained a great deal and the patio did give extra space, but we did clean this area but likely it simply had not been used and we were there early in the season. It was good space to hang out, grill did not work. There is also a handicap ramp which made getting in and out of the house very easy. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of sleeping space with the bunk beds and a queen bed in one room
