I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the outdoor pools and the playground. The bottom of the poo had areas in desperate need of repair. The indoor pool was closed due to construction. The splash park/kids area is nothing like the pictures on the website. The playground needed repairs... the swings needed new chains. The grounds needed upkeep. Sime if the swings were even broken. The vacation house we stayed in was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils we needed.

When arriving the property had no linings as I paid for, the beds were very hard and uncomfortable, also the pillows were very uncomfortable I had to go out and buy pillows. Definitely need pillows and mattress re placed! Location was great. House was big enough. Property management was great!! Would definitely go through Rose again.

Well we love the experience with renting with Rose real estate. And I’m gonna say it’s a good thing we stayed before or I would never stay again. The house itself was nice, but the inside was dirty. And I get it’s on the beach but when I walk in after checking in I shouldn’t feel like it’s a sand box under my feet. And then we found roaches 2x in the kitchen. That is disgusting.

I do not often do reviews but want to help future renters. The house (559 Oceanside) is awesome! There is plenty of room and the open concept is great for a family. It was perfect for my family of 5 but would accomodate 10 people with the enclosed porch. The location is perfect because it is as close to the front gate as you can get. With a rental golfcart, it is not a far ride at all to anything you want to do. A plus for the lot is that there is not a house beside it so the porch side is private.
here was only one thing that dissapointed a bit was that the temp in the house goes up to 76-80 during the day but does go back down to 72 at night for sleeping. The AC works but the hot days were too much for it. Rose Real Estate is great to work with. Everything they promised happened and check in and out took less than 5 minutes.
The facilities at Oceanside are awesome. We have stayed elsewhere nearby and the atmosphere at Oceanside Village is much better for a family (My kids are all in their 20's). It is much quieter with way less people. The pickelball courts were available all but one time that we wanted to use them and the pool was not too busy.
I recommend renting a golf cart, but one cost saver would be to rent from Sunday to Saturday. We did not use the golf cart Saturday because we arrived at 4pm and spent the entire night settling in. There is a long line for Saturday afternoon rental, save yourself the hassle and rent on Sunday. Also, be aware that rental golf carts from Oceanside (outside rentals or owned cars are not allowed) are not allowed off property except to go to the beach. You see golf carts everywhere in Surfside and Garden City beach (at the various bars, arcades, etc...) This was a bummer for me because I wanted to take the golf cart over to Tupelo Bay to play mini-golf and to the pier area at Garden City. Golf carts owned by residents can go off property.
Highly recommend this property and rental company!

On the day of check in the staffed seemed stressed and were very short tempered. I had an interaction the next day and they were so nice and helpful. I am sure it is stressful on check in day. We had a great time and overall pleased with the house. It wasn’t as clean as I would like but that is personal preference. The biggest issue that we had was with the air conditioner. We reported it and someone came out to look at it but really the unit needs to be replaced with a bigger AC unit since the enclosed front room was not there when this old unit was placed. The AC unit is too small and the house got up to almost 80 degrees on really hot days.

We had an awesome time, everything was exactly as it should be. Will definitely be back to vacation here again!!

We loves the house, location, and almost everything about our stay! The only complaints we have is that there are no curtains in the changing area or toilet paper in the bathrooms of the indoor pool and the toddler pool wasn’t heated.The couches were great but the king sized bed and the twin beds are extremely outdated and uncomfortable. We ended up sleeping on the couches! Also, my sister cut her hand on a wire that is kind of hidden on the wall way near the closet with the cleaning supplies. We still had a great time, this is our second time at Oceanside Village this year and we loved it! Property management were so kind and everyone was very friendly. Property was clean and we loved the side yard. We even tried to extend our stay!

House was spacious and in a quiet area. It had all the basic amenities you would want. It was a very nice place to stay for our family vacation.

We had a wonderful time at Oceanside. We enjoyed the spacious house and convenience. We would stay here again!
